We have been so blessed this past year-- we have helped families start over; provided referrals, clothing, food, encouragement and hope to those struggling to make it. We continue to keep a watchful eye out for those less fortunate; those that cry out in the night; and those who just need someone to reach out and care for them. We hear and feel the pain of the women who need support and understanding.The new year, 2012 will be nothing less then amazing as we continue to do God's work helping people to find jobs and stay connected to their community-we have made new connections, friendships and partners--our agency has joined the Lafayette Square Coalition to support the endeavors to make that area an international gateway through Indianapolis; we participated in the Innovate Indy Summit in order to support our agenda to help centralize recycling efforts in Indiana and have created a team of folks who also want to work on that dream. We have plans to increase the level of fabric and textile recycling and upcycling in our communities and that means having more clothing drives with various other entities. We have several companies interested in what we are doing and would like to be a part of our future successes. We look forward to working with creative spirits in making all of our dreams come true!

Whats new? Whats the same?

Whats new is that we have a new website and a new logo (thanks Mandy!). Thanks to the awesome developers and themers from Indy GiveCamp who worked all weekend to make this gift for us a reality! Whats still the same is that we are still helping displaced women with their transitional services as they start a new life. We are recycling fabric and textiles as a way to get jobs for women. We believe we bear some responsibility to our mother earth by reducing fabric waste in the landfills.
