You saved my life

"You saved my life", said Megan. "I knew you would not give up on me".  Those words came from Megan, a young woman we have been working with for a couple of years.  She used to live in our transitional house and she has relapsed several times in the past two years. The grip of drug abuse and dependence of crack cocaine has gotten Megan in trouble before, yet we continue to work with her when she comes around, as we see value in this girl, even when she doesn't see it herself.

Addiction & Trauma

We understand the connection between trauma and addiction. We recognize that your symptoms of depression, anger, fear and anxiety are the internalized  feelings of the emotional impact of your trauma. We also know that you can learn to change how that emotional impact affects your everyday life. We have helped others learn this, and we can help you. By abstaining from addiction, you will heal the wounds of your spirit.

The Possibility of Change

You can change: spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally. Change is inevitable, but it doesn't have to be pain-filled.  You can make the choice  whether that change is postitive or negative.  We can help you to learn  how to overcome those barriers and challenges that keep you from healing and moving forward in your life. There is help that works when you stay with it and become a determined participant!
