Woven bits of pieces- a lot like the lives we are helping.  Women have many bits to their lives; they are colorful & they need a place where they feel secure and accepted. Many lives fragmented by an unjust world; lives just crying out for help. We help those who have exhausted all options and just need someone to listen to their story and encourage them to be the best they can be.

We realize that many of the women that come to us for help are moms who have low incomes or no income; many are dependent on others to help raise their children including extended families.  Many moms need referrals for housing, clothing, food, and non food items to make a fresh start. We work with many other agencies that can help to bring these needed items to moms and children.

Children are our future, yet often we find that the children get less services then their moms-- they need high quality food so that they can grow and learn.  They need attention and environmental stimuli so that they can stay connected to their communities. Education about life and giving to others (paying it forward) are lessons that need to be passed on to these changing families.

Stitching lives together-- taking the women from a desperate situation to one of self actualization is a trying time-- yet we persevere to help the women struggling to recreate themselves; to strive harder and model those good behaviors for their children-- to change those cycles of abuse, addiction, homelessness and incarceration. We have faith in them even when they don't have it for themselves.

Jumping for joy-- yes, the moms and their children are able to learn lifes values together. Much joy is to be had when we see moms reunite with their children and start displaying good mom behavior. Children respond better to a totally involved parent.  By providing resources in employment and skills training for future jobs, many single moms can prosper and move out of poverty.

Joining together for a good cause:

The first and foremost goal of our non-profit organization is to make a difference in as many people's lives as possible. We strive to improve the living conditions for those who need the help, who can't do it themselves. Have you ever thought about how much you could change things just by volunteering?
